* MedievalStasis: Little has progressed in the five millennia of war between the Hylians and Moblins. * LuckilyMyShieldWillProtectMe: Their first upgrade gives all Hylian units (except for Ironclad Elites) shields. * JackOfAllStats: Their army is described as versatile but not specialized in any camp. * HumansAreAverage: They're not humans, but they are the central race and very anthropomorphic nevertheless. * HorseOfADifferentColor: Loftwings were used as mounts by ancient Hylian mages. * HorseArcher: Mages mounted on Loftwings. * ForeverWar: During the five millennia of history of the Kingdom of Hyrule, they have known peace for barely more than one and a half century. * FantasticRacism: They're disdainful towards all races that do not worship the Goddesses their animosity with the Gerudo and Blins is particularly notable. * DramaticIrony: They're proud of their undying devotion to the goddesses, because nobody remembers that little incident with Hylia anymore. * BlingOfWar: All Hylian units, from the lowly Town Guards to the elite Ironclads, become equipped with gold-plated armour upon their second upgrade, which doesn't help their combat abilities but drastically boost their morale. Also, their Ironclad Elites are halberdiers. * BadassPrincess: All Zeldas to an extent. They were employed during Hylia's reign as mounts for mages, but quickly fell in extinction thereafter. They were faster but much less durable than horses, incapable of flight and violent.
* AwesomeButImpractical: Loftwings, in-story. * AnnoyingArrows: Holy Macemen can shrug off all ranged attacks that do not come from a mage or siege engine. * AncestralWeapon: The Royal Estoc, first given by Rauru to Princess Zelda I and then to every reigning Princess of Hyrule. * AmazonBrigade: Triforce Vanguards, maidens who have been trained at a young age to fight and have devoted their entire lives to acting as the last line of defence against those that wish to defile the secrets locked away within the Temple of Time. Because of this pride, they're often unliked by other races and find themeselves at war with neighbours. They're an elder but prideful humanoid race characterized by pointy ears, who believe themselves as the chosen by the Goddesses. ] ] ] ] ] ] Founded in 5000 BG by King Gustaf with the defeat of Sulkaris, the Kingdom of Hyrule has always been the dominant state of the land, currently extending to the town of Vigjaro in the north and Lake Hylia in the south.
